Reorder Published Items (Timestamps)

What this is for

Ribbn displays items online in the order they were listed/published. If you need specific products (or a whole drop) to appear at the top of your webshop, you can republish them to update their timestamps, which changes their order online.

How ordering works (timestamps)

When you use Republish Listed Items, Ribbn updates the products’ publish timestamps. Items are then displayed online in the order they were listed/republished—so the most recently republished items rise to the top.

Reorder items by republishing (recommended workflow)

1) Go to Product View

Open the main products list (Product View).

2) Filter to the products you want to move

Use filters to narrow the list to only the items you want to reorder.

3) Select the products

You can select:

Individual products manually
Select All (page-based selection)

**Select All** only selects the **25 products visible on the current page**. If you need more than 25, use the blue link near the bottom (next to **Actions**) that says **“Select all XX products that match query”** to select everything matching your filters.

4) Confirm your selection count

Before making changes, verify the UI shows the expected “XX Items selected” count.

5) Republish the selected items

Click Actions
Choose Republish Listed Items

This updates timestamps so the selected items appear higher (newer) in your webshop ordering.

Common use cases

Launch / new drop: Select the products you want featured at the top and republish them to refresh ordering.
Re-merchandising: After updating product details, republish a curated set so your storefront reflects the new priority order.

The Actions menu is where you’ll find republishing (plus other bulk actions).

Notes & best practices

Republish in the exact order you want at the top: If you republish multiple batches, the last republished batch will surface highest (newest timestamp).
Use filters first: Clean filters reduce mistakes and make “Select all XX products that match query” safe and predictable.
